Mock Oral Courses & Mock Exam 2019.
CTA will provide Mock Oral courses (to include a Mock Oral Exam with feedback) for Leaving Cert. students leading up to the exams each year, usually during February and March.

The half-day course (4 hours of expert tuition), covers all aspects of the oral examinations for each subject and will focus on a variety of aspects including:
-vocabulary
-pronunciation
-grammar
-phraseology
-basic and advanced topics
-current affairs on which to focus
-how to lead the exam
-exam technique
All one-to-one oral exams are conducted in the exact same fashion as the State Examinations for utmost preparation. Students will receive feedback and a result. Each exam will last about 15 minutes with a 5 to 10 minutes’ feedback/correction session afterwards.
Mock Oral examinations are available for all students’ subject to availability in the following languages: French, Spanish, German, Irish & Polish. The fee to attend the Mock Oral course (to include exam & feedback) is outlined in the fee schedule. As places are limited, these are scheduled on a ‘first come-first served basis’. ***All of our LC Courses require a minimum of 10 registrants in order to take place. Whilst we expect to reach this minimum in all courses, in the event that there are not enough participants registered by the Sunday evening before the first day of the course, we reserve the right to cancel the course and process a full refund of fees paid to the student/parent.
****Please be advised that whilst a ‘deposit paid’ secures your place onto a course, it does not guarantee admission to the course. In order to gain admission to any of our courses, fees need to be paid in full prior to the course start date. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with regard to this.
