For non-native speakers of the English language the IELTS test is the most effective and achievable way to gain access to UK and Irish university courses. The IELTS examination is a recognised measure of whether you are ready to study or train in the medium of English. It helps people improve job prospects or measure progress in English. In this course, you will learn skills, techniques and methods to get the highest mark possible in your IELTS exam. The examination consists of four papers: reading, writing, listening and speaking

CTA will help you to prepare and practise for the internationally recognised examination which benefits your academic studies and/or career. The core material used during throughout the course is taken from the Cambridge IELTS series, however which one used depends on each students current proficiency level and whether they are preparing for the ‘Academic’ or ‘General’ test. You will take a placement test on your first day to determine your class level. You will receive advice and guidance on the choice of appropriate examination for your level of English and your career objectives. You will complete sample examination papers under examination conditions to provide you with the best preparation possible.

At the end of your course, you will have the skills and knowledge to successfully complete each component of the IELTS examination.  The course fee is outlined in the Fee Schedule (up to 16 students max per class). It is important to note that the course fee does not include the IELTS exam fee; however we will make every effort to guide you with this process.
