Are you feeling nervous about taking the Leaving Cert. Higher Level Accounting Paper? Don’t be! CTA ‘Accounting Boosters’ are here to help you. These courses meet every Tuesday and Saturday for up to 8 weeks each term to get you in top shape for the Leaving Cert. HL Accounting exams and will let you sleep at night!

Performing at your best in the Leaving Cert. Accounting exam does not happen by accident. There are proven techniques for preparing yourself and having the confidence to give your best.

Clonmel Tuition Academy specialises in helping students to relax, understand and gain the confidence they need to get the grades that match their potential. We help with understanding the topics, structured learning, effective revision and exam technique.

Each of the Higher-Level Accounting suite of ‘Booster Courses’ focus on specific areas of the syllabus and are designed for both 5th & 6th year students who want to get the best results in their Leaving Cert. HL Accounting exam. Typically these courses are run regularly over 6-8 week stints throughout the year and enable the student to apply their skills to different context questions.

The courses utilise practice papers with the opportunity to revisit the basics in each focus area. Excellent concise notes are provided for the students to take away and study outside of class. There will also be help with examination techniques in each focus area. The course subject matter is taught from scratch therefore no prior knowledge is required. For this reason the courses are applicable to both 5th & 6th year students. These are not revision courses!!! CTA offers 4 HL LC Accounting Boosters in the following areas:

  • Course 1: LC HL Final Accounts (6 Week course)
  • Course 2: LC HL PART 1: Financial Accounting (8 Week course)
  • Course 3: LC HL PART 2: Financial Accounting (8 Week course)
  • Course 4: LC HL Management Accounting (6 Week course)

In 2019, the CTA Accounting Booster courses will be held at our premises at 38 Gladstone street, Clonmel every Tuesday & Saturday. The Booster courses run for 6-8 weeks (depending on the course). Each weekly class lasts 1hr:20mins. The fee for each course is outlined in the fee schedule. For Students wishing to book onto more than one of these courses there will be a 20% discount applied.

*To secure your place on any of these courses a non-refundable deposit of €100 is required upon registration.

***All of our Booster Courses require a minimum of 10 registrants in order to take place. Whilst we expect to reach this minimum in all courses, in the event that there are not enough participants registered by the Sunday evening before the first day of the course, we reserve the right to cancel the course and process a full refund of ‘fees paid’ to the student/parent!

****Please be advised that whilst a ‘deposit paid’ secures your place onto a course, it does not guarantee admission to the course. In order to gain admission to any of our courses, fees need to be paid in full prior to the course start date. The reason for this is mainly because for many of our courses the full ‘book of notes’ for the entire course is handed out at the first lesson. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with regard to this. We reserve the right to refuse admission to any student who has not paid the course fees in full prior to the start date of the course (ie. the first lesson)
